Divinum Rune Tier List
Launch-week archetype ranks for Fjør’s passives.
This rune tier list ranks jobs, not a fabricated item database. Official Divinum copy is the grading rubric: unique visible effects, real trade-offs, no +5% filler. Pair the letters with the kits on rune builds and the rooms on bosses and trials.
S — Juggle engines
Passives that detonate, chain lightning, or otherwise pay you for keeping a body in the air. They make the store trailer look like your HUD. They scale with combo count, which means they also grade your combat literacy.
Play them in open forests, halls, and any elite that actually launches.
Bench them in low crystal caves and rooms that hit you during a long air string.
A — Perfect-block converters
On-block or on-perfect-block Runes that turn defence into stun. A-tier because they are excellent in duels and demanding on mana. Without mana shards they fall to C because empty-bar stun still exists.
Play them in named elites and one-versus-one rituals.
Bench them in projectile storms unless you also wear Kit C from the build page.
A — Projectile thieves
Swat bonuses, debris synergy, anti-beam rules. Launch-week players already treat batting shots and knocking chunks as a skill expression. These Runes are how that expression becomes a build.
Play them in catacombs, including fights in the Soulfire neighbourhood.
Bench them in empty surface walks where nothing is flying.
B — Resource and shard economy
Anything that feeds mana, Fury, or Sanctite vacuum beyond the magnet the demo already added. Never flashy, always legal. They make skills affordable.
Play them on every first clear.
Bench them only when you are showing off in a room you already own.
B — Movement and lookout
Quality-of-life passives that make retracing the map less annoying. They do not kill bosses. They find the shards that kill bosses. That is a B with a medal.
C — Generic safety
Small defensive extras that do not change a string. Fine for the getting started hour. They become clutter once you can juggle.
D — Anti-variety
Any passive that rewards pressing one button or parking on hold-block. Divinum’s Fury meter is a variety check. A Rune that fights that check is fighting the game.
S-for-one-room — Survivor taxes
Trade-off tanks and panic passives. S-tier the night a tier-three ritual ends your evening. C-tier if they stay equipped for the credits. The builds hub already told you this; the letter here is just louder.
How to argue with this list
Bring a room type, not a vibe. “This explosion Rune is S in hordes and B in duels” is a good argument. “My favourite sprite is S” is not. After Sigil Games balances in the roadmap window, we will move letters on this same page.
Until names are stable, write the job on your screenshot, not a guessed title. Your future self, and this wiki, will thank you.
A practical way to use the letters tonight: screenshot your rune menu, write S/A/B next to each slot in a note, then play two rooms. If the combo counter never leaves the single digits, the S-tier juggle engine is ornamental. If you die with a full mana bar, you equipped a block converter and forgot to press it. If a beam room still deletes you, you are wearing a forest kit in a catacomb. The list is a diagnostic, not a fashion ranking.
Shard count still outranks every letter. Extra life orbs from map exploration turn a C-tier safety passive into a legal first clear, and they make A-tier block converters actually affordable. Do not farm a high-tier ritual hoping an S-tier drop will replace the HP you skipped on the lake stairs.
Related ranks
Skills have their own tier list. Weapons have theirs. If your Rune is S and your string is still ugly, the problem is not the letter — it is the combo.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What is the best Rune in Divinum?
The best job is a juggle engine in open rooms and a survivor tax in a wall trial. See the letters above and the kits in rune builds.
Will these tiers change?
Yes. Balance is on the post-release plan. We will edit this URL instead of creating a new list.
Where do I farm high-tier Runes?
Secrets, bosses, and cleansing trials. The map guide is the farming route.
