Divinum Post-Release Plan

What Sigil Games said after the 28 August 2026 launch — and what that means for builds.

Post-Release Plan

On launch day, Sigil Games posted a short, specific post-release plan instead of a twenty-slide roadmap. That is appropriate for a solo-developed Steam game. This page restates that plan in player language, then tells you which wiki slugs will move when each item lands. For what already shipped, use launch notes.

The official list

From the launch news post:

  1. Identify and fix bugs and balance issues.
  2. Address player feedback and suggestions.
  3. Localize achievements into all supported languages.
  4. Add new localizations.
  5. Replayability-focused content and extra challenges over the next few months.

That is the whole public plan. No promised live-service calendar, no extra-player tease, no console date beyond the official site’s later-platform note. As of 29 August 2026 the Steam news hub still showed only the launch-day post. No numbered 1.0.x patch had published. This page is still a plan, not a patch log.

What “bugs and balance” means for you

Bugs you already met in reviews — ledge clip, the odd collision trap — are first in line. When they die, launch notes will drop the workaround.

Balance means your favourite rune or skill letter can move. A solo dev watching launch footage is very likely to touch mana costs, Fury speed, or a trial that went too far. Re-test strings after patches using combat combos. Do not fossilise a day-one kit.

Feedback is a real input

The playtest and demo both asked for surveys. Launch news again points at Discord. If a ritual is unfair in a boring way (unclear hitbox, not “I need to git gud”), that is the channel. This wiki will not pretend we can patch the game.

Useful feedback is specific: room name, weapon, Rune job, whether mana was empty. “Make it easier” is not a patch note.

Localisation work

Steam already lists nine interface/subtitle languages. Achievement text catching up is a quality-of-life patch, not a new campaign. “New localizations” beyond that list would expand the store table. We will only add wiki languages when this project’s rules allow — this site is English, Japanese, German, and Spanish, and it does not ship Simplified Chinese or Russian even if the game does.

Extra challenges

This is the part that will grow the wiki. “Replayability-focused content and extra challenges” sounds like more rituals, maybe new modifiers, maybe a reason to keep a survivor kit in the drawer. When that ships:

It is not a promise of a year-two expansion. It is a promise that the trial philosophy — test your skills, get rewarded — continues.

Consoles

divinumgame.com still lists consoles as a later platform. There is no SKU, no date, and no wiki platform page until Steam or the official site names one. PC and Steam Deck remain the real product. Deck notes sit on Steam Deck.

How this wiki follows

We will not create dated copy-paste patch blogs that rot. We will edit the same URLs: launch notes for bugs, this page for intent, tier lists for numbers, guides for mechanics. If a sentence here starts with “will,” it came from the developer’s launch post. If it starts with “when,” it is our mapping onto wiki pages.

Until the next Steam news item, your job is still to play: learn launches, collect shards, and stop holding block on an empty bar. The getting started page outranks any roadmap.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Did Sigil Games post a Divinum roadmap?

Yes — a short launch-day list: bugs, balance, feedback, achievement localisation, new localisations, and extra challenges. This roadmap page restates it.

Will Divinum add extra players?

Nothing official says that. The shipped game is single-player. Treat extra-player rumours as rumours.

When do extra challenges arrive?

The developer said over the next few months after launch. When they exist, bosses and trials will cover them.
