Skill Tier List

Skills are the expensive half of Fjør’s kit. They share a mana bar with perfect blocks, they help fill Fury, and they are how a combo becomes a boss delete. This list ranks jobs for launch week. For the resource cycle, stay on the skills guide. For passives that feed these buttons, stay on the rune tier list.

S — Launch starters

Buttons that create or recapture air time. They are the combat fantasy in skill form. They are also the reason low ceilings exist.

S in forests, halls, and any elite that obeys a juggle.

Not S in crawl spaces. Use the grounded alternate uppercut from combat combos instead of wasting the bar.

S — Fury executes

High-cost dumps meant for a full meter and a stunned body. If you press them as a wakeup, they are D-tier with fireworks.

S in named boss last thirds and ritual end waves.

B in exploration because you will not have Fury every screen and you should not.

A — Projectile answers

Swats, reflects, brief anti-beam tools. They make catacombs playable and they make Soulfire-style elites a conversation instead of a refund.

A everywhere projectiles exist.

C in empty rooms. Do not keep them bound over a launch starter just because the icon is pretty.

B — Movement skills

Extra gap-closes on top of the default multi-direction dash. They are real, they are not the identity of the game, and they become A if they also recapture a falling target.

C — Panic buttons

Heals, i-frames, “get off me” bursts. C for the campaign because they steal mana from the stylish loop. S for one trial when you are done being proud.

D — Bar eaters with no window

Anything that costs most of the blue bar and does not create stun, air, or safety. These are how empty-mana stuns happen. If a new drop feels like this, park it until a patch or a Rune refunds the cost.

Binding advice that is also a tier rule

If an S-tier skill is on a shoulder you cannot hit while dashing, it is not S-tier on your machine. Rebind on controls before you rewrite this list in your head.

How this list will move

Sigil Games called out balance work after launch. Skill costs are the easiest knobs in a mana system. We will shift letters here, not on a new slug. Watch updates.

If your S-tier execute never fires, you do not have a tier problem. You have a Fury problem. Mix hits, skills, and perfect blocks until the surge is a habit, then spend it like you meant it.

A second diagnostic: watch the blue bar, not the skill icon. Launch starters that look S-tier become D-tier the moment they leave you too poor to perfect-block the next telegraph. That is why this list and the rune list have to be read together. A juggle engine plus an execute is a campaign. An execute plus a panic heal plus no mana shards is a highlight-reel death in the Elite Sentinel of Soulfire doorway.

Practise skill letters in fodder rooms from getting started before you take them into a named elite. Ten clean spends on slimes teach you more than one proud wipe in a ritual. If a patch changes a cost, re-run that ten-spend drill the same night — the roadmap already told you balance is coming.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What is the best skill in Divinum?

A launch starter for most of the island and a Fury execute for bosses. Panic skills are only “best” inside a wall trial.

Should I bind all twelve skills?

No. Bind the jobs you use. The rest can live in a menu until a room asks for them. See skills and Fury.

Why is my execute skill bad?

You are probably pressing it before stun or before Fury. The letter assumes a window. Create one with combat combos.
